Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born on November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a presidential candidate for Senate in the United States, as well as a TV presenter for MSNBC. She was frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will quit the show in May 2021 to begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics to her experience as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working there. She witnessed how it affected the people in that country and gained an appreciation for US political influence across the globe. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works for Democratic causes.
